इस अवसर पर जिला किन्नौर के वीणा वादक कृष्ण लाल ने किन्नौरी वीणा की मनमोहक प्रस्तुति दी। डॉ जोगिंद्र सिंह हाब्बी एवं साथियों ने जिला सिरमौर के पारंपरिक भडाल्टू लोक नृत्य की प्रस्तुति से दर्शकों को मंत्रमुग्ध किया। सोलन से जिया लाल व साथियों ने चांदनियां राता रा नजारा व अनेकों पारंपरिक लोक गीतों की प्रस्तुति दी।
शिमला के मनोज तोमर और साथियों ने जिला शिमला,सोलन मंडी चम्बा के पारंपरिक लोक गीतों की प्रस्तुति दी। सिरमौर से आए कैलाश और साथियों ने जिला सिरमौर के पारंपरिक लोक गीत रेणुका माईए महामाई से प्रस्तुति का आगाज़ किया उन्होंने दीपक, परात ,माला, रासा, मुजरा नाटी की शानदार प्रस्तुति से दर्शकों को झूमने पर मजबूर किया। इस अवसर पर जिला शिमला के दूर दराज क्षेत्र कुपवी के गोपाल सिंह मानटा और साथियों ने दिवाली के अवसर पर गाए जाने वाले पारंपरिक लोक वाद्य हुड़क, दमामा, टंकरा की थाप पर हारूल गायन के साथ बुड़ियात लोकनृत्य की पारंपरिक वेशभूषा मे दमदार प्रस्तुति दी। इनके दल के कलाकारों ने पारंपरिक झुरी गायन की भी मनमोहक प्रस्तुति दी जिसे दर्शकों ने खूब सराहा।

उन्होंने कहा कि लोक संस्कृति के संरक्षण के लिए सभी लोगों को आगे आने की आवश्यकता है लोक संस्कृति केवल नाच गाने से नहीं है अपितु हमारे खान पान एवं रेहान सेहन से भी जुड़ा हुआ विषय है।
